New York, NY, July 13, 2006 – Digital Media veteran Greg Smith is joining Neo@Ogilvy, OgilvyOne’s digital and direct media company, as Chief Operating Officer for North America, a new position at the growing agency.
In his new role, Smith will oversee day-to-day operations for Neo@Ogilvy in the North America region as well as NeoSearch@Ogilvy North America, one of the fastest growing parts of the digital business at Ogilvy. He is joining Neo@Ogilvy from Carat Fusion where he was EVP, Media Insights, Planning & Analysis for the past 6 years.

At Carat, Greg was responsible for online media planning, data intelligence, CRM and search/affiliate marketing for the agency. Before Caret he helped found Darwin Digital in 1997 and started the Non-Traditional Media Planning Group at Zenith Media Services in 1996. He has over 15 years of media experience working at such agencies as N.W. Ayer, Bates Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi and Cliff Freeman & Partners.
